The “Work from home” commute

February 16, 2010

Departure: 8:30am
Arrival: 8:31am

What an amazing commute I had this morning… I got up from my bed, and padded over to my desk, and turned my computer on. No, I didn’t sleep at the office. Today we had a snowday, well, that’s not entirely true. Where I was at, there was a blizzard raging… so I couldn’t get into the city, and I ended up working from home. My evening commute was just as great, though I won’t get into that. All I know is that working from home meant that I felt like I had to double the amount of work, because I felt like I was proving myself… sooo… I go to work earlier, and left work later. The good thing was that I had absolutely no commute.
